This beautiful bird is named Pied Avocet.  Its name refers to the black and white attire once worn by lawyers and advocates in Europe.  They are shore birds and their bodies are specifically shaped for their home.  Tall, thin legs to walk the water shore and a long beak to reach its food.  This piece was created recently after giving birth to my second child.  A representation of how we are all designed for our work and for what is to be our home. 

All artwork sold by Judith Lamontagne Tostao are museum quality and produced with top of the line material and equipment. Originals are produced using only archival grade canvases and fine art papers. Canvases are made of 100% heavy weight cotton, acid-free with pre-dried stretcher bars. Giclée prints are made using only high density archival paper for fine art reproduction. The paper is 100% cotton fiber, acid-free and lignin-free.

The estimated time of arrival for shipment is 3-7 business days, depending on location. All shipments require a signature of receipt to the courier company for insurance purposes.
