    • This piece is very meaningful to me as I made it while struggling with the acceptance of my own father's diagnosis of Parkinson.  Through this piece, I expressed my devastation and gave myself permission to cry.  However, by the end of this piece, my tears had dried and my acceptance had grown.  I had let go of much of the pain and replaced it with hope and faith.  Sometimes, you have to let it go and have faith in something bigger than yourself.

       

      And from there came the idea of turning these difficulties into the positive action of raising money towards a cure.  Because together, we can change lives.
