Freshly picked, these purple gladiolus flowers still drip with rain water. The vibrate color of these flowers make the water shimmer like sparkling jewels. I guess rain can be seen as dreadful if it falls on mud. But when it falls on a royal purple flower, it becomes royal rain. Bad things fall upon us at times.
